9-months-old

Leo will be nine-months-old tomorrow. I feel like all the sudden, he is growing up fast. Most of that is because in the last two weeks he has started crawling forward (he had backward down many moons ago), I cut his hair and he has another tooth coming in. Oddly, the third tooth is not one of the front ones, but is off to the side a space. Huh?

Oh, and he just started trying to pull himself up in the last couple of days. (Kind of has an Elvis lip going on in this picture.)

Oh, and he's trying to teach himself the guitar on my hand-mirror. (Maybe to add to his Elvis act?)

Unfortunately, little guy is pretty sick right now, as you can see. He is a trooper, though, still trying to practice and perfect milestones despite a painful, hacking cough.

I love this baby! He is so sweet, quick to smile (except sometimes after he just woke up- wonder where he got that from.), he is good with other people, sleeps pretty well (he's still a baby folks) and has brought more love and joy in my life than I thought possible. My pregnancy with him was difficult, filled with a lot of illness, but God poured his grace on us and he is a healthy, big, beautiful boy. I am so thankful for the blessing of Leo.
