Luca these days

First off, Luca is an artist. He's creative, thoughtful and... eager. He asks me everyday to do a craft. Then after we've done one, he'll ask again later to do another. Here is a sampling of some of his recent work.

Watzit, Daddy, Tizzy and Luca. Watizit is Joe's old dog that he's begun telling Luca about and Luca has decided he really likes Watzit. He said the other night that he wants Watzit to sleep with him.

Look at that! He even did the apples in the tree all by himself.

Who needs a brush? I think he looked over at how much fun Tiz was having smearing it around with his hands and decided to try it out. But, as I mentioned, Luca is thoughtful about his work these days and doesn't just blend everything together as he used to.

I love watching Luca grow in this area. I am trying to encourage it as much as possible. Good job Luca! You are a wonderful, creative artist.
