Just wanted to document my Mother's Day present. Hopefully, I'll look back several years from now and say, "Wow, it was so small compared to the beautiful, well-maintained tree it is now!", instead of, "Oh, I remember that gift. It's a shame it didn't make it."

Did you mark Jap on the latest census? : ) Don't know if others can read this, but if you are someone not from our half-japanese family, our dad would use this typically derogatory term even though he married our Japanese mother (which we always found odd . . . and thus we have chosen to refer to it in a humorous manner rather than take it seriously.)
Anyway Gigi, I sure miss you and can't wait to see your slightly larger family in a few weeks!!!
