Tizzy's picks

Here are two books that Tiziano asks to read or "reads" on his own almost daily.

"I need a friend". Lenny starts this book off with a revelation from the heart. His sweet journey to friendship is light and heart-warming. Joe and I both think the last page doesn't flow well, but maybe that's because it was first written in German.

I know, Tiz is so trendy. It's like the movie comes out and suddenly everyone is a fan. Seriously though, I was always a little confused by this book as a kid. Max is a punk and I would never yell at my mom. But the world of the Wild Things is wonderful and now having read it a bzillion times, I appreciate the flow of the words. Tiziano's favorite part seems to be the "wild rumpus", of course. Some friends got him this book for his birthday and it has been a favorite of his for the past few weeks. Before that, he was loving another birthday book from the same friends. Even after having read this book over and over and over, the flip open parts that are on every other page hiding and animal have managed to stay on. Animal books are great for Tiz's age because you can do signs with them or make the animal noises. He still likes this one, but it's not asked for nightly anymore.
